Playing FOG OF WAR Napoleonic War is actually quite simple once you get acquainted with the basic things you need to know. First things first, you start by creating an account here. After you log-in with your newly created account, pick a server where you would want to play in. After that you will be asked to choose which prefecture your city will belong to.
After choosing your server, your location and giving yourself a name, you are immediately bought to your city screen to actually start playing. After a brief introduction, you will be given a sort of welcome reward as a newbie. All you have to do by then is claim the reward. After clicking on your reward, a mini tutorial will appear. Just read on and follow the instructions and try to learn as much as you can from the tutorial in order to understand how to play the game. This will build your foundation into becoming an effective player.
The tutorial will guide you through your growth quests. These quests are extremely important since these quests offer very handsome rewards, mostly in the form of resources. Doing these quests will ensure that you will have an ample supply of resources as the game progresses.
Your first quest will be to construct a cottage. Cottages will increase your population. Population is important for a couple of reasons. You get gold from your population by taxing them. The population is also important as they will be assigned to toil for your resources. Lastly, you will need your population to be able to create armies.
The second quest will be to accelerate the construction of the cottage through Acceleration. For this quest, all you simply have to do is to use up the item that will be shown to you by the in-game guide. It is best to use Accelerations when you are seeking to make the most of your time by speeding up time consuming constructions.
After doing both items mentioned above, your next set of quests are all about constructing resource producing structures. These are the Farm, Lumber Mill, Quarry and Mine. The farm produces food, the lumber mill prod

uces wood, the quarry produces stone and the mine produces iron. You will want to constantly upgrade each of these structures in order to maximize resource capacity and increase production. You will also want to build plenty of these structures later on because quite obviously, resources will be the most important things that you will need in order to sustain the growth of your city and build armies.
Always remember to claim your reward after completing every quest. Now that you have a basic idea of how to play the game, you shouldn’t any getting by. Always remember to complete all your quests, follow the instructions, learn from each one of them and always claim your rewards. This is the best way to learn FOG OF WAR Napoleonic War and get plenty of bonuses.

NapWar Prestige is a NapWar post from: Fog of War: Napoleonic War

Prestige is the main ranking system for Fog of War Napoleonic War. You can gain Prestige in a number of ways. Your prestige will go up when you build or upgrade buildings, when you get rewards from some quests, when you attack wilderness and especially when you attack other players.

Quite often to get into a good alliance, you need to have a certain amount of prestige, to show that you know how to play the game. This might be 2,000 prestige, or might be 5,000 prestige for example. This is a quick guide on how to get 2,000 prestige within 2 days of playing NapWar.

2,000 prestige is easily achieved within 2 days. But you do need to work at it. You will need to keep the NapWar game window open throughout the day, or be able to go in there every 15 minutes or so to check on it and to kick off more buildings/upgrades/technology. If you’re committed to making 2,000 prestige or more within the first 2 days then this is how you do it.

The easiest and best way to get prestige at the start of NapWar is to go through the newbie quests. When you first enter the game and chose to do noobie quests you should familiarise yourself with the screen layout and buttons etc. and then find the NapWar Quest button.

Have a look through ALL the quests on your Quest window. Read through each one and try and find one that is easy to do. Easy quests are ones like changing your heraldry, changing tax rate, doing comforting and levying. One tip with levying is don’t do it in a row. There is a 15 minute cool down on using levys and don’t feel you need to do one straight after the timer runs down. If you wait at least an hour then the loyalty that the levy decreases might have a chance to return. If your NapWar loyalty goes down too much, then your population will leave, and the rest of your city will suffer.

Once you’ve done some of the easy quests, have another read through the quest list and see what needs to be built to win a quest. If you notice in the rewards window, the rewards for building or upgrading a building will be similar if not more than the resources you spent on the upgrade. Building ONLY what is in a quest will mean you will keep getting back the resources spent, so you can keep rolling with building more and more and increasing your city and your prestige.

Keep building, upgrading, researching and most importantly keep checking your quest window and keep clicking down the quests, as there may be a hidden NapWar completed quest that you can turn in for a reward.

Timing is the key when building like this. Watch the timers and try and do upgrades or buildings that have similar times, that way you can leave the NapWar game window for a while and come back after that time to upgrade a different building.

To do the NapWar Alliance quest, a good suggestion is once an hour post in the world chat window saying something like “very active player looking for friendly alliance” or something similar. Try and sell yourself a bit. If you join an alliance that already has 50 players then you’ll get bonus gold and bonus prestige!

If you do all this, and check your NapWar game window every 15 minutes or so then you should be over 2,000 prestige within 2 days of playing.
